1) Tell the truth
The government must tell the truth about the climate and ecological emergency, operating with transparency to communicate the urgency for change, and must reverse all policies not in alignment with that position.
2) Act now
The government must enact legally binding policy measures to halt biodiversity loss, limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by 2025.
3) Citizens’ assembly
A new representative body that is free from the corrupting influence of money must be created to lead the transition.
4) Livable Future
We demand a just transition that prioritizes the most vulnerable people, establishes the rights for ecosystems to thrive and regenerate in perpetuity, and repairs the effects of ongoing ecocide to prevent further extinction of all species, in order to maintain a livable, just planet for all.
